Kovet Hospitality must be consulted for pre-approval of fabric and leather to be used on orders requiring TB 133 compliance. The up-charge for TB 133construction is 20% for each chair and/or sofa.  Purchase orders requesting TB 133 certification involve a full-scale test, which means an actual piece of furniture must be burned before final regulatory approval can be made. This process requires a typical furniture piece identical to the unit being installed on the job site to be tested.

The client must supply the fabric to be tested.The charge for certification is $875NET test/per item. The charge includes the testing and the manufacturing of the sample for the test. Laboratory testing requires an additional 3-4 week lead-time to Kovet Hospitality standard lead times.
